He heals the broken-hearted, and heals their wounds. Psalm 147:3
In our daily routine, we may lose interest in the wounds of our heart. We have forgotten the past and prefer to look ahead… In reality, the problem is not solved. It is in our advantage to let the Lord heal all our wounds. He is the divine doctor who wishes our heart to be healthy.
What is the state of your heart today? Around us, we see people who are in great suffering. This is sometimes apparent on their faces and/or in their way of life. Some are aware of it and others are not. The problem is that it can be revealed in their relationships with others. An injured person will always hurt others.
To experience healing, we must first acknowledge that the situation has hurt us. It is important to express this.
We need to forgive the people who have hurt us. This is essential if we want to be healed. Let us never forget that forgiveness is a power that sets us free. However, making the decision to forgive does not mean that our heart is healed. But when we have done so, it is then that the Lord leads us on the path to healing .
