About the movie
As we roll into the ❄️ Advent season ❄️ I'm reminded again that "He alone is worthy". Not me. Not you. Not anybody else. Just Jesus.
Honestly, I find myself singing the refrain of this classic Christian Christmas carol all on its own sometimes: "O come let us adore Him. For He alone is worthy."
There's some irony to this: we can't really *go* anywhere! Many of us find ourselves in lockdowns at home with what could be a long winter ahead.
But that doesn't mean we can't come to Jesus in our own way. Once upon a time, there was a monk who worked in the kitchens. His name was Brother Lawrence, and he wrote a book called "practicing the presence of God".
It was a profound book on prayer and work but it came to a simple point: "God is the Lord of the pots and pans". The task you have in front of you can, if you let it, be an act of worship. It's not the only thing, but it can be a way for you to "come and adore Him" even if you're unable to leave your house.
So whatever you do today, in your everyday, ordinary life, do it as unto Jesus--with great love, peace, and grace.
With all that said, enjoy!
