\nWe live in a world where everyone encounters fear. In hundreds of situations throughout scripture, God, knowing how much fear can cripple our lives, said \u201c Do not be afraid, I am with you, I will never leave you nor forsake you\u201d. These were the exact same words I heard when I felt overwhelmed by fear. But God revealed Himself to me as \u201cShomri\u201d, a Hebrew word for \u201cprotector\u201d. This song was written as a reminder of who God is to us. It is an affirmation of His promises – to stir up our faith as we face adversities and to break every shackle of fear, in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
