Matt, what a song of worship this is! I must have listened to it over 50 times already in the past three days. The words are so simple, yet reach so deep into my mind and heart. Thank you for sharing the story behind the song. May God continue to speak His Words through your music. John.

Enjoyed this explanation of how the song came together. It interested me that you approached Bill Gaither about using some of the lyrics of his song. I think that showed a lot of class on your part. On the other hand I can't help but think that it is a good thing that there are no copying & borrowing issues when it comes to implementing phrases from the Bible. It makes me wonder if we should be asking God permission to use His words in our Christian songs – praying that among other things that go with your sort of music ministry. And I also wonder how many times that lyrics have been borrowed from one Christian song to another, perhaps without someone realizing what they have done.
