Beautiful Ministry ❤️ My son is in-listed Marine cops. He has said he has no feelings anymore. I pray this Ministry will be available to help our young vets for many years. Thank you for your generosity and helping our vets to return out of the darkness. God bless

I remember how the Lord prepared Mike and Jay for this back in the late 90's early 2000 when they used to volunteer doing worship and praise at New Hope Home, a Christ-centered rehab near their old church in Gulf Breeze, Fl. We ran a similar ministry that we later called, "Band of Brothers" (probably due to the fact that most of the chaplains were retired or prior service military). We helped the men in the program (operated by the Waterfront Rescue Mission out of Pensacola, Fl) discover their issues were "heart-soul" issues that usually came from pain in their past (mostly childhood) from broken or dysfunctional relationships and that Christ was THE Savior, Sanctifier and Healer of their lives. By strengthening their "connection" to Christ and with one another through elements of "life-purpose" they found the ability to recover from their life-threatening addictions through Christ. I still remember the generosity of BDW back in 2002 when they donated one of their earliest CDs to New Hope to give to our graduates. Our guys loved The Weaves (as they called Mike and Jay) and this video reminded me of that time those younger brothers shared their gifts with men who were very grateful. In the 8yrs I ministered there and the over 1,400 clients, we had "0" suicides (none) and the main reason was the "Connection-Life Purpose" model that the "Band of Brothers" was based on. Today I use that model in the US Army to help reduce suicide ideations and increase morale in our Soldiers. Blessings, a former New Hope Home chaplain (BF)
